Dr. Haopeng Xiao Receives the 2025 V Scholar Award & Selected as a 2025 Baxter Faculty Scholar
We are excited to announce two of Dr. Xiao's recent accomplishments!
Dr. Xiao's grant application for the 2025 V Scholar Program has been approved for funding. This innovative project, titled “A Data-Driven Approach to Uncover a Cysteine Sensor Regulating Cancer Ferroptosis,” has secured funding from the V Foundation to advance our understanding of cancer biology using mass spectrometry technologies. Congratulations to Dr. Xiao for this achievement, which promises to contribute valuable insights into molecular mechanisms of metabolic regulation and cancer research.
He has also been selected as a 2025 Baxter Faculty Scholar by the Donald E. and Delia B. Baxter Foundation Board of Directors! This prestigious recognition comes in the form of gift funds, enabling him to further his impactful work.
